Ofra Shalev is a graduate of art studies in Israel and England. Ofra has developed a stone-like material from industrial clay and sand from the Land of Israel. The collection has the appearance of organic matter. She includes illustrations of a local and traditional nature and uses various techniques for embedding and combining metal, glass, and wood. She creates Judaica items such as Mezuzahs, Chamsa, blessings, sets for Briths and weddings, Hanukkah lamps, dreidels, plates for Passover, as well as a range of home products such as wall clocks, napkin ties, and door signs. Her work has been shown at design exhibitions in Israel and Judaica exhibitions throughout the United States.
