There is a virus unique to mankind, which infected us since the time’s dawn — that is art. I turned to clay in pursuit of not as much a shape, but rather a surface for painting. Running away from the perfection that is canvas, the straight lines and right angles; rather, the rawness, the immediacy with which to capture the fleeting world, the natural movement of a pencil, wrist, hand shaping the clay. The refinement of lived experience, of pain, joy, grief, shame, delight, bliss, love — revived, relived in art, taking on a new shape and coming alive once more. Confronted with war, epidemic, oppression, revolution, humans keep on loving, grieving, rejoicing, laughing, quarreling, learning, wondering, playing, conceiving — keep on living!

My application to join the Artists’ Fair in Nahalat Binyamin was accepted in the fall of 1994. At the stand I sell cork plates (in a variety of sizes and designs), door signs (for apartments, rooms, toilets and more) and numbers, magnets, and racks of various kinds. All of them are special, colorful, and especially humorous. On my website, you can see the entire variety of products, which you can purchase in the pedestrian mall. An important factor for me is the immediate and real feedback that I receive from the audience every day, as well as their sympathy and loyalty.

All my life I have been engaged in handicrafts and still continue to discover the rich world of creativity. Every embroidered picture, brooch, bouquet, or any other item that I create is bound to an emotion or experience and therefore does not repeat itself. I want to believe that the feelings of joy and satisfaction that I feel resonate in my work and touch the hearts of others.

Sown felt and textiles in a combination of colors and patterns, all meticulously hand sown: Hanging mobiles, bags, arches, and decorative cushions.  

I make sculptures from Papier-mâché using a unique technique. My work is characterized by a humorous, naïve, and pastel-colored style. At the stand you can find animals, dolls, fairies, hot-air balloons, airplanes, and more.

Painting and drawing on silk. My works include scarves in different sizes and colors for women and men, maps, and Judaica – challah and matza covers, tallitot and more … The people I meet, nature, and the environment inspire me, and my feelings are expressed in my creations. As a result, the works are created with love and passion. The colors and shapes stimulate my senses.
