I studied architecture at the Technion and worked as an architect. About a decade ago, paintings replaced the drawings and brushes replaced the computer. I gave myself to the white temptation of the canvas. I move between creations in which I seek maximum control, with careful planning and meticulous execution, and creations that force me to get lost. I am attracted to places where one thing turns into another, a line becomes a stain, an image disappears into the background, and layers emerge between the opaque and the transparent. I make laws and break them or improve them but I am supported by them as a skeleton for the construction of the work. Presenting my creations in the pedestrian mall serves the desire to make art accessible to the general public, in terms of both exposure and prices, and also enables a direct encounter with the buyers of the works, which is impossible when they are displayed in galleries. The eternal bursts forth with the spring in the heart of the desert; cradled by waves shattering on the rocks; soaring with the moon into the dark heavens; spiraling with the shadows of autumn leaves. This movement is life. The infinite dance of creation. The canvas, the brushes, and the tubes of paint make the music that invites me to dance.

My grandmother used to say: "god is in te smallest details".  When I was young, I didn't understand what she meant, but I've been spending time with her every single moment, fascinated by her ability to bring life in  every piece of fabric.  the small things in life – simple and mundane, makes us smile, fills us with joy and makes our day better. My creations are made of Jerusalem stone and reworked slate, combined with brass using the firing technique. Most of my works are Judaica but I use also other universal motifs.

Dried flowers that I pick myself and dry, using a technique I have developed myself. The flowers are then included in Judaica designs and decorative items such as clocks, signs, mezuzahs, placemats, glass bottoms, toilet paper holders, and kitchen towels, etc.

Jeweler for 35 years. I think that jewelry should express feelings through color and the materials from which they are made, and it can be any possible material. The materials I work with are metals, which I find in unusual places, and Tiffany glass used originally for stained glass works. The jewelry reflects my Bukharan roots and is influenced by the carpets and silk scarves originating in my father's home in Samarkand.
